FAQ's - What division should my child be in?

Check the Divisions page.

FAQ's - Can my child play on a friends team?

Clinic players (grades 1st - 3rd) may indicate their preference to play with specified friends on their registration forms. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, but please understand we can't guarantee it.

FAQ's - What team is my child on?

You will hear from your child's coach a few weeks before the start of the season. If you haven't heard, or if you've misplaced the info, you can request it via the web site's Contact Us feature.

FAQ's - What can I do if I missed registration?

We maintain a wait list up until the start of the season, and will place late registrants if there are openings. Please use the web site's Contact Us feature to apply.

FAQ's - When will sessions be held?

Clinic sessions (grades 1st - 3rd) are each one hour long and will be held on Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. League practices (grades 4th and up) will be held on weekday evenings. League games (grades 4th and up) will be played on weekend afternoons. Your team's web page will have the specific time and location info.

FAQ's - How many players are there on each team?

Our goal is to have teams of 9 to 10 players per team, but in some instances we may have to adjust that slightly.

FAQ's - How many coaches are there on each team?

2 officially, but they are encouraged to enlist help from team parents.

FAQ's - How much playing time will players get in games?

It is our policy to have every player play a minimum of one half of the game unless prevented by injury, tardiness, or for disciplinary reasons. If anyone feels they are not receiving their allotted playing time, they should first approach their coach(s). If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, they should then contact the League Board.

FAQ's - What size basketball and goal will be used?

Clinic sessions (grades 1st - 3rd) will use a “Junior” size basketball and 8 1/2 foot drop-down height basket. League games (grades 4th and up) will use an “Intermediate” size basketball (28 1/2 inch circumference) and 10 foot regulation height basket. The exception is the Boys 7th/8th Grade and Boys High School divisions which will use a “Regulation” size basketball.
